I am a blues guitarist with a lot of jazz influences so I like a round warm tone. The Gravity Gold Series is ideal for this, makes my Telecaster sound like a real jazz guitar, great pick! 👍🎸
... finding out about these picks, as nothing else is good enough anymore. Top notch!
Great picks will buy again if I get the same 50% off offer. In bulk
The .77mm picks are for rhythm strumming and picking on my Taylor 816ce. Depending on your attack you may want a thicker or thinner pic. I love the raised lettering (keeps the pic from slipping between my fingers when I am playing), size, feel, and sound. One slight wish ... that there were 3 picking tips instead of only one.
Bought 3mm first but 4mm for me is better and more comfortable. It arrived with a free pick too! Thanks so much!!!
I moved down from a 6 full size classic and i think this new one is perfect or at least a step closer!
I speed bevelled my 1mm and 1.5 and they are really slick and articulate, even on acoustic guitar. Easy to play, sweeping is very clear and fast single note passsages all picked are fabulous. Very cool picks..
I love the thickness and the fact that I never drop one of these picks. The .77mm is the perfect thickness for strumming and just sounds great. My fave.
I received a hand full of the acrylic thins as a gift, 6 months ago. I ordered more after putting them through their paces. In my reorder, there was a single, comparable thickness Gold pick that I’m guessing was included as a sample. That single item brought me back here to buy picks I didn’t know I needed. These are the picks you’re looking for.
These picks really help make you a better guitarist. Everyone I know agrees 1. These are game changers
2. They are expensive LoL. Just try a variety pack. You won't regret it.
I was well aware of gravity's picks but had not found one for me. Then as pure luck would have it i saw something similar to what i was using. I got a hold one 003 and that changed everything thing for me. Was louder and smoother that my other pick. It was the same thinkness and not too bright sounding just really clear!!! Thus was it!!
I got my first handful of Gravity picks with a JHS pedal, and didn’t try them out for months :-) When I did, I didn’t expect much, but, damn, they play great. A very different tone, and very different tones, depending on the thickness. I was surprised by how much the pick (the 003, 2mm) sped up my rhythm hand, and made it smoother on very fast things. I decided I wanted more, discovered that I could have them customized, and ordered a few with my signature on them. They arrived absurdly quick, and I got emails making sure everything was as I wanted. There are reasons I still want to use celluloid picks, as well, but I haven’t been able to make myself use one since my first custom order came in. Gravity picks are addictive. And, for those of us who are really old, and still into such things: MAGNIFICENT pick slides :-)
I really love the picks, they help create a very balanced tone. Could not be happier with the custom picks I ordered
These have become my favorite picks along with their Strips picks. I love the 1.5 thickness and the texturing. Really nice picks!
Really happy with gravity Picks! I was a pickboy user for 15 plus years and Chris made a pick that works for me. They have variety of picks for all kinds of players and styles.
Well, it only took about 30 years, but I finally found my daily driver guitar pick. I still really like the Dunlop Adamas Graphite picks for specific styles of play, but as far as day-to-day playing with feeling, dynamics, and control goes, it's the Gravity Classic Standard 1.5 for me. I like switching between the "Polished" and "Master Finished" bevels. The polished gives really good glide over strings for faster passages, and the master finish gives some really great "bite" for accents and articulation. Add to this that they're easy to grip, consistently well made, durable, and long-wearing - I'm going to have these as my playing companions for a long time to come
It is like getting 3 picks in one. The pick bevel suits my style very well.
I have had a few gravity gold picks for a while. They are still in great condition, and play perfectly. They are louder and crisper than Other more expensive brand (BC). Just saying that they are great picks for the price.
