More volume and less pick noise.
The Gold Series is the premium line offered by Gravity Picks. The material is a high grade thermoplastic which is amazingly wear-resistant. There is a sizable difference in volume when compared with a normal pick, enabling you to cut through the mix.
Hard to tell if it’s worth the investment until I see how long it lasts but my initial impressions are very positive. It’s a nice shape that provides excellent tone and control. I’m happy so far.
I liked this pick so much, that I got both the 1.0 and 1.5. It I'd equally great whether playing electric or acoustic. I've been using these picks for years, and they still have life in them.
Love this pick, I've had the pleasure of trying both the 003 gold mini 1.0 and 1.5 and the classic mini. The classic mini is just a bit wider than the 003. I use both depending on the guitar I'm playing. Tone is great and attack is precise as it can get all the while still getting ease of play. Worth the $$$ because of how much it improves playability, response and tone. I know I drop $200 to get different pedals and what not, so I figured getting a few of these isn't out of the question. My Gravity Gold picks have become a playing necessity.
The Gravity Gold picks are amazing. Pick attack is a bit subdued vs acrylic picks. Not quite as sharp. Still a beautiful full voice. Highly recommended.
I went on a massive pick hunt a few years ago, including some that cost twice as much. For my style of playing, the Classic Gold Big Mini 1.5 provides the perfect feel and tone.
