I first tried offerings from Blue Chip. They really ticked me off when I said something less than positive about their thumb pick when it snapped in half. Their flat picks are good, but they're really really expensive and they're not like what you find at Gravity. Also, it took a while to settle on the Big Mini Tripp design. I often play with the Standard Tripp, but the control I get with a smaller form factor makes a noticeable difference. Worth crediting Gravity with the Tripp design. You'll find products that are close, but I haven't seen one with the fine tip Chris produces (by hand). My go-to pick is a 2mm Acrylic Big Mini Tripp with the Master Finish. I like mine with the standard sized hole. This particular pick I'm reviewing is more of a regular flat pick ... 1.0mm and no special grip. The advantage it has over my go-to choice is that it makes less of a scratching noise ... and sometimes that's preferable. I would probably buy another if I lost this one. That said, I may have purchased the last one that's ever going to be sold. I can no longer find them on the website. Glad this thing looks as durable as a Blue Chip. At my age, it may be the last one I ever need.
Cheers,
Chris
