POLISHED VS MASTER FINISH
The bevels on each pick are shaped on a grinding wheel which creates rough bevels. Those bevels are then polished or left unpolished (which we call ‘Master Finish’).
The Polished version glides across the strings with very little effort.
The Master Finish (unpolished) version is a bit brighter and creates a different release off the string. It allows you to ‘dig in’ a bit more. It is just a personal preference.
The minimum thickness for the grip holes is 2mm. We cannot offer the grip holes in the 1.5mm thickness because they can break easily. I apologize for the inconvenience. Please try the 2mm. Most players are able to adjust up to the 2mm.
Been using these Gravity picks for about 6 years solid now they just outlast all prior benchmarks setting a new standard for what I require of a guitar pick. What may appear as simple pick may really be guitar rocket science in end result. \m/_
Acrylic Picks Standard Elipse
Love the sunrise picks! Finally found a pick that feels right at home in my hand. The material coupled with the thickness and elliptical grip hole make for the perfect combination. Solid and comfortable.
Now these guys know how to run a company. With each and EVERY order, they send me a free pick at random. More than half the time, I like it - that means I buy it. These are some of my favorites, although I DO like the JHS picks, too. I think you sent me one of those for free, and it ended up being my favorite. Looking forward to trying new ones.
Tried the master finish for the first time and they really make your picking pop. Luv’em.
