The Sunrise shape is our best selling shape. The pointed tip and 'wings' are the highlights of this model. Easy to hold onto and has a bright, brilliant sound.
There are 4 sizes: Mini (Jazz size), Big Mini, Standard (Traditional size) and XL.
Mini: .96" wide, .98" tall
Big Mini: 1.06" wide, 1.10" tall
Standard: 1.16" wide, 1.19" tall
XL: 1.26" wide, 1.29" tall
There are also several grip holes to choose from. Grip holes are not available for the 1.5mm thickness.
There are many variations combining size, thickness, grip holes and choice of polished bevels. There is definitely a pick for every guitar player.
The bevels on each pick are shaped on a grinding wheel which creates rough bevels. Those bevels are then polished or left unpolished (which we call ‘Master Finish’).
The Polished version glides across the strings with very little effort.
The Master Finish (unpolished) version is a bit brighter and creates a different release off the string. It allows you to ‘dig in’ a bit more. It is just a personal preference.

My favorite picks for guitar.
Pick perfection as always.
Purchased a big mini 2mm just before arriving at the sunrise 1.5mm and I can say that having the two brings a lot of flavor to the kind of attack I can exert on my strings. Having polished bevels and a sharp point make for accurate articulation and the materials used create a unique timbre to many other picks I have used in the past, even some unpolished Gravity picks. Highly recommend.
A number of years back I ordered a dozen Gravity Sunrise Big Minis (1.5mm, yellow, with a tilted oval grip hole, polished bevels). I loved the look and feel but felt the tone was a little too bright with my guitars. Fast forward to 2020: I got a plectrum banjo and dug out my stash of various picks to try with it. The Big Mini was the clear winner - better late than never!
