The Classic shape is our take on the traditional teardrop guitar pick that has been around since the 1950s. It is slightly wider at the top which gives a more secure grip.
There are 4 sizes: Mini (Jazz size), Big Mini, Standard (Traditional size) and XL.
Mini: .92" wide, .98" tall
Big Mini: 1.02" wide, 1.08" tall
Standard: 1.11" wide, 1.20" tall
XL: 1.21" wide, 1.29" tall
There are also several grip holes to choose from. Grip holes are not available for the 1.5mm thickness.
There are many variations combining size, thickness, grip holes and choice of polished bevels. There is definitely a pick for every guitar player.
The bevels on each pick are shaped on a grinding wheel which creates rough bevels. Those bevels are then polished or left unpolished (which we call ‘Master Finish’).
The Polished version glides across the strings with very little effort.
The Master Finish (unpolished) version is a bit brighter and creates a different release off the string. It allows you to ‘dig in’ a bit more. It is just a personal preference.

I've been all over the place with picks, from expensive brown ones to cheap giveaways (none from Nielsen, sadly). This is the best pick I've ever used. The non-polished bevel gives just enough grit to get some solid tone and it stays fixed to my hand. My first one was the JHS version--thanks, Josh and co., for turning me on to Gravity!
I've had the picks for a couple of days and, so far, they feel very nice. The attack is very good and there's that rough feeling of the unbuffed picks which I love.
Let's see how long they last. If they last as long as v-picks, the high price is justified, IMO.
I always like Gravity picks. In fact; they're all I use (Most of the time). But I'm not a fan of the "non-polished" edge picks. I can hear the unpolished edge against the string and don't really care for the sound it makes. When I used their polished picks-they are perfect.
Made me a better player immediately
This pick literally changed everything about my playing. Improved my tone, speed, pinch harmonics everything. It didn’t actually blow my ass up but it was close.
