The Sunrise shape is our best selling shape. The pointed tip and 'wings' are the highlights of this model. Easy to hold onto and has a bright, brilliant sound.
There are 4 sizes: Mini (Jazz size), Big Mini, Standard (Traditional size) and XL.
There are also several grip holes to choose from. Grip holes are not available for the 1.5mm thickness.
The bevels on each pick are shaped on a grinding wheel which creates rough bevels. Those bevels are then polished or left unpolished (which we call ‘Master Finish’).
The Polished version glides across the strings with very little effort.
The Master Finish (unpolished) version is a bit brighter and creates a different release off the string. It allows you to ‘dig in’ a bit more. It is just a personal preference.
These are the best picks I’ve ever used. With 20 years of playing and giving new ones a try regularly during that period, these are now my #1s.
I really never thought that I'd like thicker picks. These are all I use anymore after years of the old, green standard.
I was liking the ernie ball prodigy mini 2mm picks and it was convenient to keep picking them up at the local store, so i did for the quite a while, but eventually i started getting curious about spending a bit more and waiting for shipping and if it would actually make a difference, turns out it did. Really enjoying the 2mm sunrise mini, feels great and another plus is its also more durable than previous picks ive tried. 2 weeks of daily use and its still nice and sharp which is huge for me as i play metal agressively and used to round the sharp point in a couple days on the ernie balls and tortex before them
I have ordered all types of variations of picks from Gravity and this style is my favorite. Never new I would love the thick picks. Love the 3mm.
These picks feel great and I have been comparing the unpolished version to the polished. I like the unpolished for playing a bit harder, they seem to grab the strings more. The shape is just about perfect as I usually use jazz XL type picks.
