The Classic shape is our take on the traditional teardrop guitar pick that has been around since the 1950s. It is slightly wider at the top which gives a more secure grip.
There are 4 sizes: Mini (Jazz size), Big Mini, Standard (Traditional size) and XL.
Mini: .92" wide, .98" tall
Big Mini: 1.02" wide, 1.08" tall
Standard: 1.11" wide, 1.20" tall
XL: 1.21" wide, 1.29" tall
There are also several grip holes to choose from. Grip holes are not available for the 1.5mm thickness.
There are many variations combining size, thickness, grip holes and choice of polished bevels. There is definitely a pick for every guitar player.
The bevels on each pick are shaped on a grinding wheel which creates rough bevels. Those bevels are then polished or left unpolished (which we call ‘Master Finish’).
The Polished version glides across the strings with very little effort.
The Master Finish (unpolished) version is a bit brighter and creates a different release off the string. It allows you to ‘dig in’ a bit more. It is just a personal preference.

I got the Classic Standard, which ended up being too wide for me. I like the thickness (1.5mm) and the polished bevels, but it is a little big for me. I probably should have gotten the Big Mini. I have an older Gravity pick in that shape that is smaller than the Standard. It's one of my favorite picks. This has a bright attack and glides across the strings easily. I prefer the polished bevels for the speed they afford. Good pick but I just need a slightly smaller size.
I've tried most of the Gravity acrylic picks and liked them all. The Classic is my favorite. They got it right in the 1950s, and the timeless design works as well as it ever did. The pick is comfortable to hold and play. It sounds great. I prefer the multi-hole 3mm and 4mm, although I'm partial to size of the Mini. The Big Mini is a little too large for me, but still comfortable to play. The Classic in any size is a great all-around pick that makes glorious sounds come out of my guitar.
Pretty good picks, not sure if I like polished better or not. I do like the size and quality.
This pick is making me a better player, especially with alternate picking. I will continue to experiment with other gravity picks. Many thanks to Chris for such important products!
The picks have brought me back to how I would flat pick acoustic guitars when I was young!
